SCR Grantee Event: Catskills Comedy Festival

The Catskills Comedy Festival celebrates its third year, and they have been an SCR grantee each of those years!

Each fall, this multi-day event brings together top comedians and rising talent for a weekend of live performances throughout historic Main Street in downtown Catskill.

The 2026 Festival lineup features nationally recognized comedians including Ophira Eisenberg, Jocelyn Chia, Raanan Hershberg, Sean Patton, Jared Freid, John Hill, and Nico Carney, alongside local and regional talent. The festival also offers free events, workshops, a kids’ open mic, comedy critique, and other interactive programs for performers and audiences.

From cozy venues to lively eateries and shops filled with laughter, the festival delivers big laughs and plenty of small-town Catskills charm. Make it a weekend getaway filled with comedy, local dining, and beautiful fall foliage in the heart of the Great Northern Catskills.
