CREATE Council on the Arts is currently recruiting new members to serve on its governing board.
The Governing Board is responsible for the oversight of the organization, steering the organization towards a sustainable future, and ensuring that it has adequate resources to advance its mission. We are looking for interested candidates with expertise in specific areas such as: legal, finance, fundraising, PR/marketing, facility management, human resources, educational leadership, business leadership, and non-profit experience.
Terms of service are three years with each member recommended to work 5-10 hours per month that would include Board meetings, special events, serving on a committee, participating in fund-raising as well as to making a financial contribution of personal significance.
Recruitment is ongoing until all positions are filled.
