Bridge Street Theatre presents Samuel Beckett’s “Happy Days,” a hauntingly comic meditation on marriage, resilience, and the human spirit. SCR Grantee: Gather & Swing Community Square Dance

This is the first of three community square dances this fall, scheduled for third Fridays in September, October, and November 2026. Live string band music featuring fiddle, guitar, banjo, and bass, and a dance caller teaching the dances. Easy to follow, and fun! No need to bring a partner.

The Town of Conesville is celebrating America’s 250th in a very big way on September 19th. Live music by Richie Berger and a square dance with the Tremperskill Boys are part of the day’s festivities made possible by a grant from the Create Statewide Community Regrant Program. Lots of fun!

GCCF Grantee Event: Autumn Deep Reading Night

A relaxed, screen-free evening where we’ll read and discuss one poem by the late John Ashbery, who spent much of his life cultivating creative communities along the Hudson. The poem will be chosen for its emotional range and relevance to many different lives. All ages. No expertise or prep required.
