I am an artist, printmaker, writer, and maker of artist’s books living in Columbia County, New York. I work with ancient themes, telling the stories of my ancestors and the wild around me as a way to be in this life. My past work embodies my sentiments and process – Authentic Dream Movement I-IV: The Half Circle of Well Being, 2005 – 2010; Escape Across the Hudson: Buffalo Monoprints, 2015 – 2020; and now, The Lost Ones: Finding My Ancestors, a multi-volume work. Volume I will be presented Fall 2026. For this artist’s book, I have sourced inspiration of the imaginal realm, and various other materials to add meaning and complexity, such as abaca paper and kozo fiber, images derived from graphic drawings, photographic and solar plate prints, and the written word to tell a story of intergenerational ancestral trauma, spirit reclamation, and family restoration.
