All CREATE Members joining or renewing at $35 or above receive a Membership Card good for a variety of discounts (see below for a list of Membership perks – there are some new ones in 2022, and more coming soon).

CREATE administers essential regrant funds and grants to community and cultural organizations and individual artists throughout Greene, Columbia and Schoharie counties, presents gallery exhibitions year round in our gallery at 398 Main Street, Catskill, NY, offers free technical assistance workshops on a variety of topics, presents special events celebrating regional culture, and keeps all members involved informed of happenings and opportunities throughout the region.

CREATE members—both artists and those who wish to support arts & culture in our region—show active support of CREATE’s programs, gain a direct link to what’s happening in our area, and stay informed about opportunities available to regional artists, artisans and nonprofit organizations.

CREATE Membership Perks
  • Be acknowledged on our website.
  • Receive our eblasts featuring events and opportunities throughout the region.
  • Be invited to participate and vote at CREATE’s Annual Membership Meeting.
  • Artist members may submit artwork free of charge for group and curated exhibitions at our Catskill gallery.
  • Receive 10% discount on purchases at CREATE’s Catskill Gallery (some exhibits excluded – will be noted in details about show)
  • ARLENE’S ARTIST MATERIALS – 10% discount on store items (some restrictions may apply) 57 Fuller Road, Albany, NY.

  • HUDSON VALLEY ARTIST SHOPS –  With locations in Rhinebeck and New Paltz 

    • 20% discount on supplies 
    • 10% discount on framing

  • MGREEVY’S PROLAB  –  located in Albany 

    • 10% discount on print services

  • CATSKILL ART SUPPLY  – Kingston location 

    • 10% discount on archival print services (see flier below)

  • IROQUOIS MUSEUM – Howes Cave

    • Iroquois Museum-10% discount at Museum Shop and $5 discount on Adult museum admission tickets (excludes admission for annual fundraiser weekend).
  • Hudson Hall – 10% Discount on Admissions (see flier below)
  • Artist members receive automatic acceptance of artwork in annual “members only” salon exhibitions.
  • Artist members may be listed in our artist resource file along with a website link on our “RESOURCES/Artists Members” page.
  • Receive advance email announcements of CREATE programs and invitations to special events, exhibits and seminars.

Donor Member Level

  • $250 and up – You will also receive one voucher for a Gift Membership at the Individual Level to extend to another individual. (Certificate is for a new Membership)
  • $500 and up – You will also receive two vouchers for Gift Memberships at the Individual Level to extend to two individuals. (Certificate is for a new Membership)
  • $1,000 or more – You will also receive four vouchers for Gift Memberships at the Individual Level to extend to four individuals. (Certificate is for a new Membership)

Double the impact of your support by sharing the receipt to (CREATE) the Greene County Council on the Arts, an official 501(c)3, with your employer and ask them to match your support. CREATE’s arts programming relies on gifts like these.
