March is National Youth Art Month and CREATE Council on the Arts is paying tribute to our region’s burgeoning, young visionaries with a new twist on an old tradition. This year’s annual youth exhibition, “Outside The Lines,” will feature artwork by pre-K through Grade 12 students from across fifteen Greene and Columbia county schools, as well as some of their teachers too. 

“Outside the Lines” gives students the unique opportunity to exhibit their artwork in a professional gallery and allows visitors to see a wide cross-section of the diversity and promise of our region’s young, creative talent. CREATE’s extraordinary annual exhibit is made possible by the participation of numerous teachers, administrators, students and their families. This exhibit is sponsored in part by Shook Insurance, Catskill Collectibles, Mahalo Gift Shop, and The Spotty Dog Books & Ale.

A closing reception will be held on Sunday, March 31st from 2-4pm.

CREATE gallery hours are Fridays, 4pm-7pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-6pm.
