The Roeliff Jansen Community Library is thrilled to announce a free concert featuring the renowned saxophonist Kris Jensen, who will be hosting an unforgettable afternoon of jazz on Sunday, August 25  at 3:00 p.m. This special event will take place in the library’s Community Room, providing an intimate setting for a musical journey that echoes the vibrant sounds of “The Big Easy.”

Kris Jensen, known for his dynamic saxophone performances, will be joined by the acclaimed pianist T.J. Thompson and his “Trio-Gumbo,” featuring the talents of bassist Miles Livolsi and drummer Conor Meehan. The ensemble promises to deliver a rich, soulful experience, blending classic jazz rhythms with the distinctive flair of New Orleans.

This concert is a rare opportunity for jazz enthusiasts and the local community to enjoy a high-caliber performance at no cost. The event reflects the Roeliff Jansen Community Library’s commitment to fostering cultural enrichment and bringing people together through the arts.
