Active Audience invites participants to share works-in-progress in a supportive, feedback-driven setting. Pieces do not need to be original—just something you’d like input on. Five performer slots are available, each with up to four minutes of stage time, followed by a brief Q&A and audience feedback. We can’t wait to experience and chat about what you’ve been working on + rehearsing! 

Whether you are preparing for an audition or a show, you haven’t performed in a while, or maybe it’s your first time–come perform on a stage under the spotlight!

Active Audience is presented in partnership with Bridge Street Theatre by CREATE IN PROCESS—a series of informal artist-centered meetups for artists to meet and collaborate on the creative process. 

These meetups are designed to support sharing work, exchanging ideas, and building connections.

All gatherings are free and open to the public. All backgrounds, ages, disciplines, and experience levels are welcome—come present, respond, or simply listen.
