Brush Form Focus brings together the distinct perspectives of four of ACC’s most accomplished member artists. Working across painting, photography, and sculpture Richard Bazelow, Lucy Bohnsack, Millie Goldberg, and Marianne Van Lent delve into themes of nature, time, and memory, coming together to offer a unique gallery experience. The exhibition invites contemplation of the rhythms of the natural world, and investigates the effects of time on internal and external environments. Diverse mediums, lived experiences, and artistic approaches entangle to form a show that moves beyond the sum of its parts. Brush Form Focus invites the audience to examine their relationships to the worlds around and within them, and to find empathy for one another through newly discovered differences and intersections.
