“Last Night” & “Bells”

Virtual Staged Reading of chilling radio dramas from Suspense Theater: “Last Night” and “Bells”.  Presented by The Two Of Us Productions, the award winning theater company based in Columbia County NY, in collaboration with Roving Actors’ Repertory Ensemble (RARE) Inc.  

In Suspense Theater’s “Last Night” we meet Gil and Jacqueline (Jackie) Blaine, two nice people working hard to run a dude ranch for visitors from the city.  They have nice guests and rude guests, but Mr. Burroughs takes the prize for rudeness by abruptly departing early one morning.  The problem is, Mr. Burroughs never arrived home and now his wife wants to know where he is!  

In “Bells”, also from Suspense Theater, we meet Henry and Lucy Fielding, a happily married couple who need to get away from their noisy cramped aparement.  They have looked high and low for a larger quieter house in the suburbs, but the high rents are a big problem.  Lucy accidentally purchases the wrong newspaper and discovers just the house they’re looking for and for a very affordable rent.   But the low rent actually comes at a higher cost than either of them could have possibly imagined.
