Pieces, then a Picture

The Art School of Columbia County is pleased to present the Spring 2021 Exhibition, “Pieces, Then a Picture,” to coincide with World Collage Day

May 8 through 30, 2021, with select gallery date and times
Opening Saturday, May 8, 2 to 6 pm

It’s World Collage Day on Saturday, May 8, and to celebrate (and participate), the Art School of Columbia County is presenting an exhibition, “Pieces, then a Picture.”

Works on display will be by faculty, members, and students of the Art School, and will support the theme of works that come together through pieces into a bigger picture. The works will be in diverse mediums and of diverse sizes.

There will be an opening reception on Saturday, May 8, from 2 to 6 pm. It will be held outside under tents. Guests will be asked to wear masks and keep socially distanced. Groups of 6 or less will be allowed in the building to view the works. During the reception, the School will have supplies on hand for visitors to contribute to a unique collage. The collage will be a work in progress for the duration of the show, where it will also be on display. Come get creative with us!

 Gallery hours will be Saturdays and Sundays, May 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30, 2 to 6 pm; and Thursdays, May 13, 20, and 27, 10 am to 2 pm.
