Please join us on Saturday, June 6, from 3 to 5 pm for the opening reception of Seen Scenes, CREATE’s annual member exhibition and first ever Offsite show at the Kinderhook Knitting Mill!
Seen Scenes brings together works CREATE’s members from Greene, Columbia and Schoharie counties, as well as from neighboring towns of the Hudson Valley and Capital Region.
Artists have been asked to submit artwork which responds to the exhibition title—interpreting it freely to incorporate a range of approaches and mediums.

CREATE will host a series of public programs throughout the run of the show, designed to expand engagement, foster community, and highlight a range of artistic practices.
CO-WORKING WITH GARDEN CLUB HUDSON VALLEY
Thursday, June 11, 9am–12pm
Bring your laptop, sketchbook or paperwork and co-work with us! There will be space to chat and also a quiet room. Coffee will be provided. In partnership with Garden Club Hudson Valley.

OFF THE PAGE
Sunday, June 14, 2pm
Off The Page invites CREATE members working in literary media to share their work through live readings and spoken performance, expanding the exhibition beyond the gallery walls. Participating artists are encouraged to reflect on the exhibition theme as a starting point for poetry, prose, spoken word, and other short literary presentations shared with a live audience.

Saturday, June 27, 12–3pm (During Upstate Art Weekend!)
CREATE is excited to invite artists to apply to table during Demo Day—an interactive day of live artist demonstrations taking place on Sat, July 27 at the Kinderhook Knitting Mill as part of Upstate Art Weekend!
