The Two Of Us Productions is pleased to present, in collaboration with the Claverack Library, The Copake Quintet in a live performance at the Claverack Library on Saturday night August 24th. You don’t want to miss these in-demand area musicians as they present great music from the American Songbook, Latin & Bossa Nova tunes, plus classic rock to the Claverack Library.
The Copake Quintet is a group of experienced musicians from around the Hudson Valley. Based right here in Copake, Columbia County NY, these musicians celebrate the classic format of drum, piano, bass & melody to share with their audiences the pleasure of live acoustic music in a relaxed & friendly setting.
The Copake Quintet features tunes from the American Songbook, Latin and bossa nova tunes, as well as classic rock. The group’s musicians include Steve Turowski on drums, Debbie Contini on keyboard, Rick McCurdy on bass, Steve Sanborn on woodwinds, Nik Vanderhoofen on trombone, and the vocal style of Connie Lopez. They are all in-demand musicians from around the Hudson Valley, drawing together into a small group setting that you’re sure to enjoy.
