Upper Catskill String Quartet presents an hour-long educational concert titled “Thematic Sound: From Opera to Broadway to Cinema”. The program will feature musical selections spanning opera, musical theater and film scores, taking listeners through the evolution of musical composition for the stage and the big screen and providing an opportunity to learn about the historical context of these works to enhance the listening experience. Admission to the concert is open to all and is free of charge.
