Wesley Harper Video Premiere & Album Listening Party // short films by Ibarra & Torzullo and Ellard DeVane

You are invited to the Avalon Lounge for a 60-minute program of music and film. Tracks from Wesley Harper’s upcoming album, Fun Pain, will be interspersed with live music and screenings of short films.

Wesley Harper is premiering the music video for In The Way, directed by Stephanie Ibarra and Anna Torzullo and including stop-motion animation by Ellard DeVane. He will perform some songs live and play the music + visuals for the entirety of his album Fun Pain. 

Ibarra & Torzullo will premiere their short film Fortuna, a comedic saga of two friends and collaborative filmmakers who play the lottery with a pact to split it evenly, should they win.

Ellard DeVane will screen his stop-motion claymation film Lonely World, in addition to his clay stratacut works and original sound design pieces.

All proceeds from the door go toward funding production for Ibarra’s short film Todo el Tiempo en el Mundo,to be filmed in Chile this winter. There will be an option for those who want to donate additional funds at the door of the event.
