GARCIA FUND FOR YOUNG ARTISTS
The Garcia Grants for Young Artists Fund is named in honor of Ruben Garcia, founding member of the CREATE council on the Arts in 1975. To carry on Ruben’s legacy this fund support students in Greene County to participate in cultural events that help develop their artistic ability. Three grants are awarded annually to three students in amounts up to $200.
ELIGIBILITY
The Garcia Fund is open to students in grades 9-12 who reside in Greene County who are interested in pursuing arts education.
