CALL FOR ART – interpret the theme literally (ie. plein air painting, a tableau photograph) or maybe you have a metaphorical take with a depiction of a memory or dream. We’re looking forward to seeing your submissions! This show is open to members of CREATE. If you are currently not a member – you can join here!
Please note, due to limited space, this show will be curated so all submissions will be reviewed and notifications of selected pieces will be sent by May 20th.

I’d like to participate, what are my responsibilities?
- Complete the application form.
- Deliver or arrange drop off of selected piece(s) during designated drop-off period.
- Provide special instruction or packing materials as needed.
- Complete contract and provide information about each piece.
- At the end of the show, artists are responsible for picking up any unsold artwork.
What are important dates to know?
- Sign Up By: May 15th
- Drop off Period: May 23 – 26
- Opening Reception: May 31
- Show Period: May 31 – July 14
- Art Pick Up Period: July 15 – 17
What are CREATE’s policies?
- Participation in this show is open to current CREATE members only. If you have a question regarding your membership status, email membership@createcouncil.org and we’ll follow up with you.
- All work is subject to review by CREATE and any pieces that violate copyright, code of ethics or CREATE policy will be removed.
- CREATE’s commission is 50% of the retail price of each work sold unless the artist opts for lesser percentage (minimum of 30%). Payments for sold work will be scheduled 30 days after exhibit closing date.
- It is the responsibility of the individual participant to deliver artwork/products/objects to the gallery by the date due for installation and artwork pick-up after the exhibit closes. It is the participant’s responsibility to pick-up artwork on specified dates after the show’s closing or schedule an appointment. All artwork left at CREATE gallery over one year becomes property of CREATE Council on the Arts

We would love your help if you’re able to volunteer to gallery sit so that visitors can have more opportunities to come and see this special show. We are looking for volunteers on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for a shift from 12-5pm. If you’d like to volunteer to gallery sit, please sign up.
