Pauline Decarmo Pauline Decarmo This project used visual art to bring together the artist’s Guyanese heritage and growing-up years in Queens, helping the artist share their full self with the Hudson community and reconnect with NYC’s Guyanese community. Their work hopes to convey the experience of coming to a foreign country, adjusting to a new culture, and understanding.
