The Heavenly Echoes Gospel Band

The North Chatham Free Library presents The Heavenly Echoes Gospel Band in concert at the Malden Bridge Community Center on September 8 at 3 pm. FREE and appealing to all ages! The band’s core group consists of six members: several singers, guitar, bass, and drums, with keyboards on occasion. They perform gospel music in the quartet style. In concert, the band’s performance is all-ages and family friendly. Songs include a mix of some originals; well-known traditional works (“Precious Lord, Take My Hand,” for example); covers of songs that crossed over into pop music (such as the Staple singers’ “I’ll Take You There”); and contemporary quartet-style songs that are gospel standards in the church community.
