Weather Lamps is a window show featuring the work of Jacky Connolly, a rising star of the Hudson Valley arts scene and recent contributor to the Whitney Biennial. First Friday celebration on 2/7, 5-7PM. On view 24/7 from 2/7 – 3/2!

Jacky Connolly (b. 1990, New York, NY) is an artist and filmmaker who lives and works in the Hudson Valley. She is known for her machinima filmmaking technique, and often utilizes pre-existing game engines to create her films. Connolly’s animations often examine personal trauma, childhood, and alienation as it relates to the built environment. Recent exhibitions and screenings include: Game Society, MMCA, Seoul (2023), Against Gravity. The Art of Machinima, 69th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen (2023), Phantom Edit, Fitzrovia Chapel, London (2023), Quiet as It’s Kept: Whitney Biennial, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York (2022), Jacky Connolly: Hudson Valley Ruins, Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, Perth (2020), Ariadne, Downs & Ross, New York (2019).
