Schoharie Colonial Heritage Association – Depot Lane Theater Children’s Programs
Provided opportunities for children in the community to receive training and feedback in vocal singing, stage acting and dancing. A voice camp introduced participants to the history and evolution of Broadway musicals with songs ranging from the early 1900s through the 2000s. Shakespeare Camp taught students how to read and understand the great Bard. Band Camp introduced students to John Williams, Alan Menken, Lin Manuel Miranda and others. In addition to playing, students completed projects on topics related to songs from stage and screen.
